Blues Festival

Journal Entry: Sun Jun 8, 2008, 4:37 PM
Yesterday was one of those days that I look forward to all year. It was the 2008 Famous Dave's BBQ and Blues Festival. National blues acts from all over the country perform in downtown Minneapolis. Good music. Good food. Catch up with good friends. And people watch. Mother Nature cooperated by not raining until well after the festival ended. So even though I had high expectations, they were all met and then some.

To quote John Belushi, "I suggest you buy as many blues albums as you can."

Most all of the sky pictures I color balanced. I wish i knew how to correctly capture it on my camera... I'm not that advanced yet. Flipside i getting better a photo shop and other photo editing programs!

Thank you for the compliment. The reason I decided to put the pictures in B&W is because I think it makes the viewer concentrate more on the light, lines, and architecture of the building. I think if I left the pictures in color it would definitely take away from that.
