This weekend is the Blues & Ribfest I attend every year. No exception this year. National blues acts perform outdoors gratis, while "Famous Dave's" sells some of the best BBQ ribs around. In addition I see friends whom I see too infrequently. I am looking forward to the friends, music and food.

Next weekend is the "Stone Arch Bridgefest". Many fine artists and food vendors show off their wares by the historic Stone Arch Bridge over the Mississippi River. And a classic car show! Another fine event I am looking forward to attending.

And that's just two weekends in June. We who live in the north savor our summers. Thus, we cram in as much in as we can before the snow returns. The summer has begun!
